The exam in brief
- The B1 written part lasts up to 190 minutes and has 4 modules of 30 points: listening, reading, grammar and writing.
- The oral part lasts up to 15 minutes and is worth 40 points.
- To pass you need at least 50% in each module and in the oral part.
- A B1 certificate is needed, among other things, for citizenship (recognition) and the EU long-term resident card.
Why grammar you type
In the grammar module part of the answers must be written by you: a verb form, a question word, a whole sentence. Endings that sound almost right are the main trap. So here you type the forms instead of only choosing them, and you see the rule straight away.
